Holiday villas for rent in and around Malaga and Costa del Sol are highly sought after.The choices are plentiful and include farmhouses, beach villas, golf villas, city villas and villas further away in the mountains. Self catering villas are available with many different facilities, like swimming pool and air conditioning in different sizes and price levels to match most budgets.
If you can go off season, you can get some very good deals, especially if you want to stay for longer. Even in high season good deals are around, at present holiday villas for rent outnumber the demand.
You can book your holiday villa through an agency or direct with the owners. There are many search engines for both alternatives.
If you book through an agency, it is usually more expensive, but the agency will normally guaranty the standard and the equipment of the villa. If you book direct with the owner you only has his word for the standard of the villa.
It important to investigate the exact location of the villa before you book. The description does not always match the realities, like distance to the beach, the city etc. Other things to investigate are:
- Time of arrival and check out
- Any requirements to pay a deposit to be returned at departure.
- The number of guest who are allowed to stay in the villa.
- If pets are allowed.
- Sometimes children are not allowed.
- The requirements for cleaning and washing at check out. Who does it and at what price.
- Insurance cover if anything gets damaged while you stay in the villa.
