Hotels in Bilbao
Plenty of hotels are available in Bilbao at all levels, with accommodation both in the heart of the city and on the outskirts of Bilbao. A range of inexpensive hotels can be found in and around central Bilbao, offering basic facilities and affordable prices, particularly when booked in advance. Many of the best hotels can be found in and around the Casco Viejo area, especially along the Calla Bidebarrieta. A selection of hotels can be found near the Guggenheim Museum, together with other nearby attractions and sights.
Further hotels can be found alongside the Nervión river, around the Plaza Circular, in the university district and on the outskirts of the city. A small number of hotels can also be found close to Bilbao Airport, just a few kilometers from the city and popular with business travellers.
Numerous beachfront and coastal hotels are just a short trip from central Bilbao. Offering great locations, these hotels are particularly concentrated around Playa de Bakio, Playa de La Arena Muskiz and Playa de Gorliz y Plentzia, which offers a fishing harbour and marinas.
